The College Nurse, Miss Fisher, is summoned to the Headmaster’s study to explain why she had disciplined two unruly pupils, including Jenny, her stepdaughter. The Headmaster states that only he is authorised to punish pupils and that Nurse Fisher must leave any discipline of her daughter until she earn dwelling-place. Nurse Fisher finally agrees to school punishment instead of dismissal. She soon finds herself over the knee of the Headmaster for a prolonged spanking, before being told to go and change into college uniform, sending her daughter in on the way.
